On Sunday, October 4, Goodwill of Mississippi employees and their families gathered at Flowood Auditorium for Family Day 2026. This year’s Team Goodwill theme celebrated the people who keep our mission moving and gave everyone a chance to enjoy an afternoon together.

There was plenty to keep the whole family entertained, from bounce houses and bingo to the cake walk and candy table. Sno cones offered a sweet treat, while our CEO, Brad Steffani, fired up the grill to cook hamburgers and hot dogs. DJ Adam kept the music going throughout the afternoon, and employee prize giveaways added to the excitement.

Family Day is an opportunity to spend time with coworkers beyond the workday, meet their families, and celebrate the team behind Goodwill of Mississippi. Our employees contribute so much to our mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work. We were glad to have this time to celebrate them and the families who support them.

A heartfelt thank-you goes to all the volunteers and Goodwill Ambassadors who gave their time to help bring the day together. Special thanks to ShaNisha Burns for her work organizing and coordinating the event, and to Brad and DJ Adam for helping make the afternoon memorable.

To every employee and family member who joined us: thank you for being part of Team Goodwill!
