Goodwill Industries of Mississippi is grateful for the incredible community support shown during our Spring Donation Drive held on May 16th at McDonald’s on Highway 51 in Ridgeland.
Thanks to the generosity of donors throughout the day, the event saw a tremendous turnout with community members stopping by to donate clothing, household items, and other gently used goods that will help support Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work across Central Mississippi.
From the moment the drive began, vehicles continued to line up as supporters cleaned out closets, gave back to their community, and helped create opportunities for individuals served through Goodwill’s programs and services.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the team at McDonald’s on Highway 51 in Ridgeland for hosting the event and helping make the day such a success. Their partnership and hospitality played a major role in creating a welcoming and fun atmosphere for everyone involved. McDonald’s also generously provided drinks, desserts, and BOGO coupons for every donor throughout the event.
We would also like to thank WLBT for helping promote the donation drive and encouraging the community to come out and support our mission.
We are grateful to everyone who donated, shared information about the drive, and stopped by to support Goodwill of Mississippi. Every donation made during the event helps provide funding for programs that empower individuals throughout Central Mississippi.
