Safety in Motion: Goodwill Team Members Complete Forklift Certification Refreshers

At Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, safety isn’t a once-a-year training or a checklist item—it’s a part of our culture. On July 1st, six team members completed their Forklift Certification Refreshers, reinforcing our commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and responsible work environment.

Forklift operations are an essential part of the work we do, from moving donated goods to supporting warehouse and transportation logistics. That’s why keeping certifications current and skills sharp is not only required—it’s expected.

This training is part of our ongoing Goodwill Safety Program, which emphasizes:

  • Regular hands-on training and certifications

  • Prevention-focused policies

  • Empowering team members to identify and report hazards

  • Ensuring that safety is top of mind across every department and role

We are proud of our team members who completed this latest round of training and continue to set the standard for safe practices on the job.

At Goodwill of Mississippi, safety is everyone’s responsibility—and everyone’s success.
