Honoring Our Community Heroes: Goodwill of Mississippi’s 40th Annual Salute Dinner

On August 15th 2024, Goodwill Industries of Mississippi proudly hosted our 40th Annual Salute Dinner, an event dedicated to recognizing the exceptional volunteerism efforts within our community. This year, we were honored to celebrate 13 incredible individuals who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to making a difference.

These honorees exemplify the spirit of service that drives Goodwill’s mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities. Each one has contributed in unique and impactful ways, from supporting our programs and initiatives to directly helping those in need.

Each honorees' acts of volunteerism were highlighted during the evening, as as we reflected on the collective impact these volunteers have made. Their dedication not only enriches the lives of those they serve but also inspires others to get involved and give back.

As we celebrate these 13 outstanding honorees, we are reminded that it is through the power of community and volunteerism that we can create lasting change. Also, a special thank you goes out to the Goodwill Industries Volunteer Services (GIVS) auxiliary group for their invaluable support in hosting this event.
