Goodwill of Mississippi Names New VP of Workforce Development


Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles "Bubba" Weir as the new Vice President of Workforce Development. Bubba brings a wealth of experience in working with underserved populations, having most recently served as Chief of Staff & Grants at MAGCOR. He has also held significant positions as an indepedent contractor with the Mississippi Department of Human Services and as an employee with the Mississippi Department of Education.

 

Bubba is excited to join the Goodwill team and bring his extensive background to further the organization's mission. "I have enjoyed partnering with Goodwill over the past four years and am now excited to work for them directly. My previous experience has readied me to take on the rewarding task of helping this organization serve its territory and the great people of Central Mississippi," said Bubba.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Bubba has been married to his wife Kathy for over 40 years. They have two sons, Tyler and Blake, and three grandchildren, with one more on the way.
