Goodwill of Mississippi Hosts Two-Day Store Manager Training

Throughout the training, department heads presented key updates and resources to ensure managers are fully equipped to lead their teams. Topics included safety practices, administrative procedures, POS and IT troubleshooting, marketing initiatives, operational expectations, and updates within the Learning & Development system—where L&D demonstrated how managers can use the LMS dashboard to track employee learning and monitor required training. Each department’s presentation helped managers gain a deeper understanding of essential processes, compliance needs, communication protocols, and the tools available to help guide and develop their teams.
The training also created opportunities for conversation, questions, and the sharing of best practices, allowing managers to learn from one another and strengthen alignment across stores. These two days were a meaningful investment in Goodwill’s leadership—empowering Store Managers with the knowledge and confidence they need to deliver strong results while living out our mission each day.
