Goodwill Industries of Mississippi was proud to be part of the Mississippi Mud Monsters season opener at Brisket, Brews & Baseball, an exciting evening filled with great food, fellowship, and America’s favorite pastime.
Members of our Goodwill Ambassadors program, along with other incredible Goodwill supporters, gathered to celebrate community while enjoying a fun and memorable night at the ballpark. One of the highlights of the evening was Goodwill of Mississippi's own, Skylin Smith, being honored with the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Adding to the excitement of the evening, Goodwill of Mississippi CEO Brad Steffani cooked more than 150 pounds of brisket for attendees to enjoy, helping make the event a true community celebration.
Events like these are a great reminder of the power of community partnerships and the importance of coming together to support organizations that are making a difference throughout Central Mississippi.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to David Kerr of the Mississippi Mud Monsters for his hospitality and assistance throughout the evening. His support helped make the event a tremendous success.
Congratulations to the Mississippi Mud Monsters on their season opening win! We appreciate the opportunity to be part of such a fun evening and look forward to cheering the team on throughout the season.
At Goodwill of Mississippi, we remain committed to transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work, and we are grateful for opportunities like this that allow us to connect with our community in meaningful ways.
