Goodwill Industries of Mississippi recently wrapped up the final session of our 2025 Leadership Training Program, marking the conclusion of a year-long development journey designed to strengthen, support, and elevate current and emerging leaders throughout our organization.
Last week, participants gathered for their final workshop where they presented their capstone projects — a culmination of the skills, insights, and tools they’ve gained throughout the program. These projects highlighted innovative ideas, thoughtful process improvements, and creative approaches to leadership that directly support Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.
The Leadership Training Program, facilitated by Everett Shupe, has been instrumental in equipping Goodwill employees with practical leadership strategies and communication tools. Everett’s sessions focused on self-awareness, effective team support, decision-making, and building a mission-driven leadership mindset. His guidance has had a meaningful impact on our team, and we are grateful for his commitment to developing Goodwill leaders across the organization.
As participants shared their capstones, it was clear how far they’ve come over the past year — demonstrating confidence, clarity, and a deeper understanding of how leadership can positively influence workplace culture and team success.
Goodwill Industries of Mississippi remains committed to fostering growth and professional development for all employees, and this program is just one of the ways we continue to invest in the future of our team.
We look forward to expanding leadership opportunities in 2026 and continuing to support staff as they grow, learn, and make a difference across our communities.
