Goodwill of Mississippi Attends Mississippi SHRM Conference

Goodwill of Mississippi recently attended the Mississippi SHRM Conference in Biloxi, MS. The conference provided us with a chance to connect with human resource professionals, network with businesses, and share the work we do.

At our booth, we shared Goodwill’s mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work. Attendees learned about the services we provide, from workforce development program that prepare individuals for employment to our BookWorks childhood literacy program. We also discussed our training for incarcerated individuals, our digital skills and customer service training, and the hands-on learning opportunities we offer through events like Job Extravaganza.

The SHRM conference gave us the opportunity to share our mission and explore partnerships with businesses across the state. By working together, we aim to help more individuals find employment and strengthen our community.
