Goodwill Industries of Mississippi Welcomes James Spearin as Vice President of Operations

Goodwill Industries of Mississippi is excited to welcome James Spearin as our new Vice President of Operations, bringing more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit organizations, retail operations and mission-driven leadership.

In this role, James will lead retail operations across Goodwill's locations in Central Mississippi, helping strengthen operational excellence while supporting the organization's mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.

James joins Goodwill Mississippi after serving as District Manager for Mokan/MERS Goodwill Industries in the Kansas City region, where he oversaw more than $20 million in annual retail sales and led a team of more than 300 employees. Throughout his career, he has successfully guided multi-site operations, developed high-performing teams and built strong partnerships that expand community impact. His leadership experience also includes executive roles with the YMCA, where he managed large-scale operations, multimillion-dollar budgets and innovative community programs.
