Goodwill Industries of Mississippi Celebrates Grand Opening of New Ridgeland Supercenter

On Thursday, July 23, 2026, Goodwill Industries of Mississippi celebrated a milestone nearly 70 years in the making with the grand opening of its new Ridgeland Supercenter.

Hundreds of shoppers gathered outside, eager to be among the first to experience Goodwill's newest and largest retail location in Central Mississippi. More than 200 customers were waiting when the doors officially opened at 8:00 a.m., creating an unforgettable start to a day that celebrated growth, opportunity, and community.

The celebration continued with a five Chamber ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m., where local elected officials, chamber representatives, community partners, board members, Goodwill Ambassadors, donors, and supporters joined Goodwill leadership to commemorate the occasion.

Located on Highway 51 in Ridgeland, the new 53,000-square-foot facility represents much more than a retail store. It brings together Goodwill's retail operations, donation center, Career Center, and administrative headquarters under one roof, creating a centralized hub where shopping, giving, and changing lives happen every day.

"Our new Ridgeland Supercenter represents our continued investment in the communities we serve," said Brad Steffani, President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Mississippi. "This facility allows us to better serve our customers, strengthen our workforce development programs, and expand opportunities for individuals seeking employment and career advancement. The Ridgeland Supercenter features:

While shoppers discovered incredible bargains throughout the store, the true purpose behind the Supercenter extends far beyond retail.

Revenue generated through Goodwill stores supports no-cost workforce services, including job search assistance, résumé development, interview preparation, digital skills training, industry-recognized certifications, financial literacy education, and employment support for individuals facing barriers to work.
