Last week, Goodwill Industries of Mississippi had the privilege of celebrating the incredible volunteers who make our BookWorks program such a success during a special appreciation luncheon.
The event brought together our dedicated BookWorks volunteers, Goodwill leadership, and a special guest, Miss Mississippi 2026, Jane Granberry, as we recognized the meaningful difference these individuals make in the lives of children throughout Central Mississippi.
Our BookWorks volunteers do more than read stories—they inspire a love of reading, encourage young learners, and help build the foundation for lifelong success. Their time, compassion, and commitment are helping transform lives, one book at a time.
A special thank you goes to Tammy Louvier for her exceptional leadership of the BookWorks program. Tammy's passion for childhood literacy and her dedication to supporting our volunteers have helped make BookWorks the phenomenal program it is today. Because of her leadership and the selfless service of our volunteers, countless children are discovering the joy and power of reading.
To every BookWorks volunteer, thank you for sharing your time, your talents, and your heart. Your impact extends far beyond the pages of a book, and we are grateful for all you do to support our mission of transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.
