Celebrating Service at the 2025 Goodwill Salute

On Thursday, August 21st, 2025, Goodwill Industries of Mississippi held its annual Salute Dinner at The Country Club of Jackson. This cherished annual event gives us the opportunity to honor and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism and the incredible people who make Central Mississippi stronger.

This year, we recognized 14 outstanding individuals (9 adults, 5 youth) whose time, talent, and dedication have made a lasting impact in our communities. Their volunteerism spans neighborhoods, nonprofits, schools, and civic efforts — and together, they represent the very best of what it means to serve others.

In addition to honoring community volunteers, we also celebrated our 2024 Goodwill Employee Award recipients. These team members embody Goodwill’s mission each day, transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work. Their commitment not only uplifts the people they serve, but also inspires their coworkers and our entire organization.

We extend our deepest gratitude to GIVS (Goodwill Industries Volunteer Services) for graciously hosting this year’s Salute. Their support and dedication make this event possible and ensure that the remarkable contributions of volunteers and employees alike are recognized in a truly meaningful way.

As we reflect on the 2025 Salute, we are reminded that the heart of Goodwill’s mission beats strongest when fueled by people who give of themselves — whether through volunteer service, workplace excellence, or community support.
