A Night of Costumes, Community and Good: Ghoulwill Bash 2026
Creative costumes, a lively dance floor and a generous community came together at Duling Hall on Thursday, October 22, for the 2026 Ghoulwill Bash. Hosted by Goodwill Industries of Mississippi, the evening brought guests, sponsors, volunteers and Ambassadors together to support a shared purpose: transforming lives through lifelong learning and meaningful work.
From the first arrivals to the final songs, guests brought the energy—and the costumes. The evening was a chance to celebrate, connect with friends and discover more about the work Goodwill makes possible throughout central Mississippi.
Good Food, Great Music and Plenty of Personality
Catered Occasions served up a creative spread, while DJ Adam kept the music going and emcee Kayla Thompson of WJTV helped guide the evening’s festivities. Colorful balloon installations by Mariam added to the atmosphere, and Flashback Photo Booth gave guests a place to capture their costumes and memories.
The costume contest was a highlight, with entries ranging from imaginative handmade creations to coordinated couples and groups. Our judges—Miss Mississippi Jane Granberry, Mississippi Mud Monsters General Manager David Kerr and WAPT Chief Meteorologist Christana Kay—had the difficult task of choosing the winners.
The contest also celebrated Goodwill spirit, recognizing guests who incorporated Goodwill finds into their looks. It was a fitting reminder that a little imagination and a trip to Goodwill can become something extraordinary.
Every Bid Supports Opportunity
The silent auction gave guests another way to participate, with donated artwork, home décor, dining packages, entertainment and experiences available for bidding. We are grateful to the businesses and individuals who contributed items and helped turn their generosity into support for Goodwill’s mission.
That support reaches beyond the evening itself. Goodwill of Mississippi provides opportunities for people to build skills, explore careers and prepare for meaningful work. Events like Ghoulwill Bash connect our community with that work and invite more people to become part of it.
Thank You for Going All Out for Good
Ghoulwill Bash takes many hands to bring to life. To our sponsors, donors, Ambassadors, volunteers, staff, vendors and guests: thank you for the time, creativity and generosity you shared.
Whether you sponsored the event, donated an auction item, placed a bid, helped behind the scenes or joined us on the dance floor, you helped make the evening possible.
